On September 6, 2012, with the assistance of the Los Angeles church of Christ, the Sacramento Church launched and evangelistic blitz at Sacramento State. Despite a flurry of people rushing to class (even running into people during class!), our group managed to scroung up a dozen people to Bible Talk (a small group, evangelistic Bible Study). Afterwards, the group broke up and had person Bible studies. I, along with Evangelist Keith Davis and another young man, studied with a freshman and a immigrant from the Phillippines named Nino. We showed his Luke 14 about Jesus' call for us to surrender everything to follow Him. He felt challenged to confidently search Scripture and ensure that he can not only bring people to faith, but his look at his own salvation.
I pray that the Spirit moves through the Sacramento-area colleges that some will enter the saving grace of Jesus. To Him be the Glory!
